EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVE:

The 900-hour Certified Truck and Diesel Technician program offers students the chance to learn hands-on, practical skills to service the latest models of diesel vehicles.

When you step into our automotive career training facility in Jamaica, Queens, you can expect a structured curriculum that sees you through introductory fundamentals all the way to advanced systems. Certified instructors provide you with theoretical knowledge along with diesel mechanic training, teaching you how to test, diagnose, repair and adjust major components. By the end of the program, you’ll be ASE certified and prepared to tackle any truck or diesel issue, including problems affecting diesel engines, brakes, steering and suspension and electrical systems. You’ll also be fully equipped to perform preventative maintenance inspection.

Using Your ASE Truck And Diesel Technician Certification

Many of our Certified Truck and Diesel Technician students go on to land entry-level jobs at dealerships, working as diesel technicians, parts counter persons and service advisors. During the program, NYADI’s placement department guides students every step of the way through the job application process.
