What Is the Snap-On SEP Student Excellence Program?
Student mechanics find that as part of their coursework, they need the tools of the trade. Snap-On Tools has a Student Excellence Program, or SEP, that allows mechanic students to purchase tools at the list price. NYADI The College of Transportation Technology in Jamaica, NY, offers the Snap-On SEP program. Here, we explain how the program works for our students.
Snap-On SEP
The Snap-On Student Excellence Program allows full-time students who qualify the opportunity to purchase quality and professional Snap-On tools at discounted prices. This ensures students get the quality tools they need for classroom training. Those tools can then follow them into their career as auto technicians.
Full-time students enrolled in the Snap-On SEP program can purchase up to $12,000 worth of tools at list price value, along with one roll cart/cab and one top chest. Those tools include:
- Tool sets
- Hand tools
- Torque tools
- Diagnostic tools
- Tool storage
In short, anything found in the SEP catalog is available at special student pricing.
To enroll in the SEP program, students can visit the Snap-On Student Excellent website or speak with NYADI’s education account manager.
