Welcome to NYADI The College of Transportation Technology – Library Services

Library Mission & Vision

The New York Automotive and Diesel Institute, The College of Transportation Technology is home to a full service library in a recently redesigned space. We serve the entire NYADI community, but our focus is on the students and their academic and lifelong learning needs. The NYADI library is here to aid the students in career development, research, information literacy, personal growth and professional development.

General Description

The library houses computers in a quiet study space, small group tables, and meeting spaces. A comprehensive collection of books and periodicals on automobiles, trucks, buses, and motorcycles is complemented by a general education collection. We also purchase biographies’ novels, and reference books. Our library also subscribes to all hardcopy (paper) magazines in the automotive and diesel field that are published in English. We also purchase copies of general interest magazines on popular subjects so students can keep up with their interests or find new ones. A selection of internet resources and documents, along with the NYADI Library online catalog are accessed through the online library guide which is the gateway to all your library resources.

Students have access to our partners’ certificate training programs including:

Daimler Trucks
Mitchell Pro Demand
