What will I learn at NYADI?
All our academic programs provide students with the most up-to-date training in the basics of automotive technology, as well as in electronics and computerization. Our goal is to ensure students receive the highest level of instruction possible to empower them to pursue their educational and career dreams.
The specific skills students will develop depend on the program they choose. NYADI offers the following programs:
- Associate of Occupational Studies (AOS) in Automotive Technology: This program includes 20 classes equaling 60 credits and features a combination of traditional classroom learning and hands-on education. Students develop professional skills and certification in automotive technology.
- Associate of Occupational Studies (AOS) in Automotive and Diesel Technology: Students complete 20 classes to earn 60 credits, developing job skills and gaining industry certification in automotive and diesel technology.
- Certificate in Automotive Service Technology: This certificate program features a hands-on curriculum in which students develop a comprehensive knowledge of transportation technology. Students earn 45 credits over three semesters.
- Certificate in Truck and Diesel Service Technology: This 45-credit program prepares students with the knowledge they need to pursue roles or further education in truck and diesel service technology.
- Certificate in Collision Repair Technology: Students become career-ready to enter the collision industry with this hands-on program of 16 automotive and collision courses (48 credits).
