NYADI The College of Automotive and Diesel Technology– Proudly Serving Students from the Westchester County Community for Over 20 Years
At NYADI The College of Automotive and Diesel Technology, we “love, love, love” working on any type of motor vehicle. If you share our passion for cars and trucks, perhaps a career in the automotive repair and maintenance industry is the right choice for you. We offer three courses of study, one in diesel, one in automotive repair, and one in collision repair. All our courses are taught by ASE certified instructors.
We are a veteran-friendly school authorized to receive educational benefits — that is, the GI Bill — from the Veterans Administration. In addition, while we require a high school diploma for graduation from our programs, we can resolve that issue by helping potential students obtain an equivalency diploma along the way. Here are a few other key things to know about our automotive repair programs:
Exceptional training – The latest generations of automobiles and trucks are decidedly high-tech so there is a significant amount of in-classroom training at NYADI The College of Automotive and Diesel Technology. More importantly, however, is the amount of hands-on training with both the tools of the trade and the sophisticated electronic testing equipment as well as the actual cars that we provide. As mentioned, all of our courses are taught by ASE certified instructors. Master certifications are available for both Collision Repair Technicians and Automotive Technician. Once graduated, our students will be prepared to quickly and accurately diagnose and then service a wide variety of specialized automotive, diesel and heavy-duty truck systems across a diverse range of makes and models.
Flexible classes – Both training tracks are available on a part- or full-time basis. In addition, day and evening classes are also available for those who still need to hold down a full-time job. Class size is relatively small so the most popular classes fill up fairly quickly. Luckily, there are few prerequisites for most of the classes so they can be taken in almost any order. This means that you can take the course you need as you need it rather than we require it. It is a win-win situation. Finally, if you are in need of higher level training, NYADI The College of Automotive and Diesel Technology can help. Most notably, we have recently partnered with SNAP-ON Tools and MOPAR to offer an even higher level of automotive training excellence.
As you can see, automotive training offers a fascinating and rewarding career for anyone with a passion for cars and trucks.
